Weddings
at the Peace Garden

The International Peace
Garden is a lovely place to hold a wedding. On
this page, you can find information about the facilities
available at the garden for weddings and receptions, as
well as a list of caterers. Whether you choose
from our list or not, we will need the caterer's name,
address, and phone number. Gate admission is $10
per vehicle if you do not wish to pay your guests'
admission fees. |

call me, if you have any questions. In order to ensure
your special date, please return your forms as soon as
possible. I will return a copy of the Wedding
Reservation, Confirmation & Agreement form to confirm
your date.

A
$100.00 rental is charged for Garden Weddings in the
Formal Garden Area. If desired and included in the fee,
The International Peace Garden staff will be responsible
for the set-up and take down of a maximum of 100 chairs.
For the wedding couple’s ceremony an electrical outlet
is available on the north staircase leading to the
fountain ceremony area.
A
written request to reserve the Formal Garden area for a
particular day must be on file at the Peace Garden
office to ensure the area has been properly reserved.
Please specify which direction the quests chairs are to
be faced; towards the fountain or outward to the length
of the Formal Garden walkways.
No confetti or
birdseed is to be thrown in the Formal Garden Area.
There is a $50.00
charge for the use of the Peace Chapel. However, there
is no charge for the chapel if used for a Formal Garden
Wedding backup encase of inclement weather. Wedding
parties will make all of their own arrangements. There
is an additional charge of $50.00 for the setting up of
more chairs (1-50), if required. The organ is available
for use by the wedding party. There are washrooms close
by for your convenience.
A written request to
reserve the Chapel for a particular day should be on
file at the Peace Garden office to ensure the Peace
Chapel has been properly reserved.
The
seating capacity of the Peace Chapel is approximately
100 people.
A liquor
permit must be authorized by the Manitoba Liquor
Commission fourteen (14) days in advance of using the
Errick Willis Pavilion.
